Become a PEI COPC Member or Supporter

The PEI Certified Organic Producers Co-op invites farmers, processors, and consumers alike to join us to provide a strong voice for the organic industry on PEI.

Annual memberships fees are based on gross farm revenue and vary from $100 – $200 annually for certified organic farmers, and $50 for associate members who are farms in transition, new entrants, consumers, processors, retailers and agri-businesses who share our principles and ideals.  Associate membership entitles you to the benefits of regular membership, without voting privileges at the AGM.   Membership fees help to strengthen the organic industry on PEI, so please consider joining today.

PEI COPC also has a corporate sponsor fee structure (delineated below) for those interested in supporting the organization’s annual activities with a monetary contribution. Sponsors can choose from three varying levels of sponsorship and in return for the paid rate,  receives level-specific services from PEI COPC. Please read below for more information.

PEI COPC MEMBERSHIP & CORPORATE FEE STRUCTURE

Full PEI COPC Annual Membership Fees

(based on Gross Farm Revenue)

*Eligible full members are certified or in-transition organic production units, whether operated by one or more than one individual, located in Prince Edward Island.

Associate Memberships – $50

*Eligible associate members are any persons who support the policies and by-laws of the PEI COPC and are granted membership by the Board of Directors.

Corporate Membership Rates and Services

Supporter

$250:  supporter  logo will be included once monthly in PEI COPC weekly newsletter and  social media platforms with one additional product/ business promotion for three months on PEI COPC web site/ online directory.

Partner

$500: partner logo will be included twice monthly in PEI COPC weekly newsletter and social media platforms with one additional product/ business promotion for six months on PEI COPC web site/ online directory

Sustainer

$1000: sustainer logo will be included weekly in PEI COPC weekly newsletter and social media platforms with one additional product/ business promotion for one year on PEI COPC web site/ online directory and will be identified as a Sustainer level sponsor for PEI COPC hosted events.

* All corporate membership applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors to ensure that the corporate values of the applicant align with those of the PEI COPC (health, community & environment) and that the corporate applicant has business activities that can offer support for organic industry participants.
