Our first Kitchen meeting / farm tour will be at Marc Schurman’s Farm, Atlantic Grown Organics, in Springvalley. This will be on June 30th @ 6:30 PM. Come and get information on how he produces vegetables inside the greenhouse for most of the year. Check out the facebook page for Atlantic Grown Organics for more info on the family and their farm.

The Board met and reviewed the results of the report of our members input on the future direction of the PEI COPC carried out by Dynamic Outcomes. The Board has developed a plan to carry out this direction and that plan will be released to you through our web site later this week. The Board of Directors met recently with Alan Miller from Dynamic Outcomes Consulting to finalize the survey and start the process of carrying out your wishes as expressed through the survey and the Annual meeting. Board member Matt Dykerman has agreed to further flush those ideas out and along with Joyce our Executive Director, develop a work plan for the Board’s approval. The Board hopes to finalize that plan by May 23, 2014 and once it has been approved the plan highlights will be conveyed to you, the membership.
